A graduate of Experimental Biology at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. She obtained a master’s degree defending her thesis entitled “Effect of obesity and diabetes type 2 on number of neurokinin B-immunoreactive neurons in the hypothalamus and metabolic and hormonal profile in female rats”. The MSc thesis was carried out in the Laboratory of Neurobiology, under the supervision of Joanna Helena Śliwowska, PhD.

She joined the IHG PAS in October 2018. She is currently involved in research related to the genetic basis of rare respiratory diseases (primary ciliary dyskinesia, cystic fibrosis) and analysis of genetic diversity in human populations.
