The results we obtain expand our understanding of the genetic determination of susceptibility to cancer and other diseases. Our studies not only have a basic aspect, but are also used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, through, among others, the use of stem cells. Modern technologies of molecular biology, including next-generation sequencing, as well as cytogenetic and immunological techniques, are used in our studies.
