\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Independent Research Group of the Regional Center for Digital Medicine <\/strong>has been established to conduct projects in the area of non-commercial clinical research and digital medicine. The goal of this research is the wider implementation of omics research, including exome and whole-genome sequencing, in personalized medicine. A key task of the ongoing projects is to implement quality systems to manage samples and research processes, and to automate these procedures.<\/p>\n

Another goal is to improve the competence of IGC’s scientific staff by introducing new research techniques, such as nanopore sequencing and digital PCR (dPCR). The results of the research conducted are expected to provide new experimental data with a high degree of reliability that can be implemented in medical practice evidence-based medicine, EBM). Analysis and structuring of the obtained data will be based on artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The projects will result in the development of solutions that will assist clinicians in the treatment decision-making process and increase the efficiency of the healthcare system.<\/p>\n

Currently, the Group implements the following research projects:<\/p>\n

“University Center for Digital Medicine and Precision Medicine with Specialization in Comprehensive Phenotyping of Civilization Diseases<\/strong>” under the program Establishment and Development of Regional Centers for Digital Medicine, call abbreviation: Regional Center for Digital Medicine (RCMC) funded by the Medical Research Agency (2023 – 2027)<\/p>\n

Total project value: 30,000,000.00 PLN
Funding for research tasks of the Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences: 5,061,865.04 PLN<\/p>\n

“Use of oral colchicine to prevent restenosis in the superficial femoral artery \u2013 The COLSTENT Study<\/strong>” under the Head-to-Head Research Program for non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments funded by the Medical Research Agency (2023 – 2028)<\/p>\n

Funding for research tasks of the Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences: 3,515,880.06 PLN<\/p>\n
