Requirements to be met by candidates<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The candidate at the start of the implementation of the tasks:\n<ul>\n<li>is a student of second-cycle full-time or part-time programmes provided by higher education institutions in the territory of the Republic of Poland;<\/li>\n<li>is a student of at least the fourth year of full-time or part-time degree programmes of masters programmes provided by higher education institutions in the territory of the Republic of Poland;<\/li>\n<li>shall be a PhD student, a participant of doctoral programmes provided by an authorised organisational body of a higher education institution, a research institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a research institute or an international research institute operating in the territory of the Republic of Poland and established on the basis of separate legislation;<\/li>\n<li>participates in the doctoral seminar and works on the preparation of the doctoral thesis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Requirement\n<ul>\n<li>MSc diploma in Biotechnology, Nanotechnology or Chemistry;<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of basic techniques of molecular biology, in vitro culture and basic laboratory skills;<\/li>\n<li>experience in chemistry and\/or nanotechnology;<\/li>\n<li>proven scientific interest;<\/li>\n<li>predisposition to work with animals;<\/li>\n<li>availability 7 days a week for iPS cell culture requirements;<\/li>\n<li>fluent English (oral and written);<\/li>\n<li>ability to team working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>During the period of receiving the scholarship, the Candidate will not receive any remuneration from the National Science Centre funds.<\/li>\n<li>During the period of receiving the study grant, the total amount of study grants financed by the National Science Centre will not exceed PLN 4. 5 thousand per month.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>II. \u00a0Description of the tasks in which the Candidate will participate:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The candidate will participate in the interdisciplinary research related to the search for a modern therapeutic tool in the treatment of Duchenne&#8217;s disease. Research will include: advanced molecular techniques, in vitro cultures of myogenic cells from patients with dystrophy, iPS cells. In addition, the project includes pluripotent cell differentiation, genetic modification, genome editing, and animal testing.<\/p>\n<p>III. In order to assess the predisposition, the candidate may be asked to complete a one-month internship at the Department of Reproductive Biology and Stem Cells\u00a0 IHG PAS.<\/p>\n<p>IV.
