    The candidate will be involved in the tasks realized within the project Sonata Bis <\/strong>2020\/38\/E\/NZ2\/00134 (National Science Centre, Poland):
    \nPI \u2013 Marta Olszewska, PhD
    \nProject title:<\/strong> \u2018Cytogenetic and molecular analyses of positioning of human sperm chromosomes, including: sperm chromatin integrity, epigenetic marks, karyotyping and sperm fractioning<\/em>\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Main tasks:
    \nactive participation in the realization of project goals, including: evaluation of sperm chromosomes and chromatin in infertile males, cytogenetic and epigenetic stainings, working with the microscope<\/p>\n

    II. Tasks to be done by the candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. preparation of biological samples<\/li>\n
    2. stainings for chromatin status determination in spermatozoa<\/li>\n
    3. determination of sperm chromosomes positioning via FISH<\/li>\n
    4. immunofluorescence experiments with antibodies<\/li>\n
    5. DNA extraction<\/li>\n
    6. documentation and analysis of the results<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u00a0III. Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. student of the 4th<\/sup> year of the Master\u2019s degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, medicine or related field<\/li>\n
      2. Basic knowledge in the field of molecular and cell biology<\/li>\n
      3. Very good written and oral communication skills in English<\/li>\n
      4. Motivation and enthusiasm about working in the field of science<\/li>\n
      5. Good collaborative and team work skills<\/li>\n
      6. Scientific achievements and\/or practice courses will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
