I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in Turkey. Following my bachelor’s, I have attended master’s studies in Biotechnology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland and prepared my master’s thesis at the Institute of Human Genetics, Polish Academy of Sciences where I am currently a PhD student. As a PhD student, I am specializing in RNA-Sequencing and Mass Spectrometry data analysis and integration of transcriptome and proteome data to decipher mechanisms of post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression during development. My current research is focused on the role of NANOS post-transcriptional regulators during germ cell development and its connection to fertility by using molecular biology, bioinformatics and computational biology approaches.
