We also encourage you to read the ERDEREA launch press release from 12.09.2024.

The European Rare Diseases  Research Alliance (ERDERA) is a partnership of more than 170 organisations from 37 countries encompassing leading global research institutes, patients’ organisations, European research infrastructures, pharmaceutical and technology companies, public funding agencies, philanthropic and private funders, regulatory institutions, healthcare authorities, hospitals, universities or medical associations

It is worth highlighting IHG PAS is the only research institution from Poland that has become a partner in the ERDERA partnership.

Being a member of ERDERA allows IHG PAS to help shape the thematic scope of research calls announced, and to add to that, IHG PAS will also benefit from the training programme that has been planned as part of the ERDERA workstreams.

Upon the launch of programme’s implementation, ERDERA is to start forming, preparing and announcing calls for research projects. Grants awarded as a result of these calls will be co-funded by national agencies associated with the partnership. In Poland, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) serves as the co-funding national agency for research calls that will be announced over the course of the programme.

The ERDERA consortium coordinator is the Thematic Institute of Genetics, Genomics & Bioinformatics, INSERM from France.
