Main prize and distinction in the competition for the best original creative work of a doctoral student in 2023
In the competition for the best original creative work by a doctoral student in 2023, organized by the Poznan Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Katarzyna Jaskiewicz, PhD, won the main prize in the area of medical sciences, and Karolina Rassek, PhD, received a distinction also for her work in the area of medical sciences.

PTGC award for Dr. Monika Drobna-Śledzińska
In the second edition of the competition organized by the Polish Genetic Society for the best original work and doctoral thesis in the field of genetics from 2023, the doctoral thesis of Dr. Monika Drobna-Śledzińska entitled: “Identification of miRNA-mRNA interactions in the pathogenesis of childhood T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL)”, performed under the supervision of Dr. hab. Małgorzata Dawidowska, won the 2nd Prize in the Specialty of Human Genetics.
START Fellowship for Karolina Rassek, PhD
For the 32st time, the Foundation for Polish Science awarded START scholarships to the most talented young scientists from all over Poland. This year, 100 young researchers will receive it, including Karolina Rassek from the Department of Molecular Pathology.
