A concise description of the scope of responsibilities: The candidate will be involved in the tasks realized within the project Sonata Bis 2020/38/E/NZ2/00134 (National Science Centre, Poland): PI – Marta Olszewska, PhD, Project title: “Cytogenetic and molecular analyses of positioning of human sperm chromosomes, including: sperm chromatin integrity, epigenetic marks, karyotyping and sperm fractioning”. Main tasks: active participation in the realization of project goals, including: evaluation of sperm chromosomes and chromatin in infertile males, cytogenetic and epigenetic stainings, working with the microscope.

Requirements for candidates:

  1. Master’s degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, medicine or related field,
  2. Basic knowledge in the field of molecular and cell biology,
  3. Motivation and enthusiasm about working in the field of science,
  4. Very good written and oral communication skills in English,
  5. Good collaborative and team work skills,
  6. Work in the IHG PAS will be the major place of employment of the candidate,
  7. Scientific achievements and/or practice courses will be an advantage,
  8. During the engagement lab researcher would not be funded from the other NSC grant projects or be hired in another place as employee.

  1. Experience in laboratory work,
  2. Knowledge in molecular and cellular biology,
  3. High motivation to work,
  4. Communication skills in English .
