The research team of Dr. Małgorzata Dawidowska, Bronisława Szarzyńska-Zawadzka MSc and Prof. Michał Witt from the Department of Molecular and Clinical Genetics became a laureate of the grant competition STRATEGMED III “Prevention and treatment of civilizational diseases” 
of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) became. Grant will be implemented within the framework of the project “Personalizing the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children in Poland (PersonALL)”, led by the Medical University of Silesia (Prof. Tomasz Szczepański). In this edition of the competition seven projects has been recommended for funding out of 62 submitted; Silesian Medical University project was on the second position on the ranking list.
