I graduated with a Master’s of Medical Sciences in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. My research and diagnostic work as a genetic technologist combined with my four years of study in the field of Biomedical Science and ART have led to an interest in the field of reproductive genetics and developmental biology. The current project, I am involved within the Institute, focuses on providing a comprehensive insight into the structure and dynamics of NANOS1 ribonucleoprotein interactome during specification/early development of male human germ cells. We anticipate and hypothesize that the double p.[Pro34Thr; Ser78del] mutation causes alterations of the structure of NANOS1 interactome, and a comparison between wt-NANOS1 and v-NANOS1 interactomes will enable to pinpoint pathway(s) essential for human germ cell specification/early development.
