Rim Ibrahim secured her place in the french competition “My PhD in 180- Central Europe”.


Rim Ibrahim, PhD student from the Department of Reproductive Biology and Stem Cells- IGC PAN, won 2nd Prize of the Jury of the 5th edition of the french competition “MY PhD in 180 seconds- Polish Edition”, coorganized by the French Civilization Center and Francophone Studies at the University of Warsaw, the Plajeda Association of Polish Romanists in partnership with the French Institute in Poland.The winners of the first two prizes will represent Poland in the finals of “My PhD in 180 seconds” in Central Europe, which will take place the 8th of June 2023 at the Charles University in Prague.
“My PhD in 180 seconds” is a competition that aims to popularize science in French. Within three minutes, the doctoral student presents their research work to the general public by simply explaining a complex subject, and it includes all research disciplines.
The event is part of the celebrations of the Festival of the Francophone and the French Language Week.
