During the 11th Congress of the Polish Society of Human Genetics in Bydgoszcz in Poland, Dr Joanna Swierkowska received the Award of the Polish Society of Human Genetics for the best doctoral dissertation in the field of human genetics – degree obtained in years 2018-2020. Title of the awarded doctoral dissertation: ‘Characteristics of selected (epi)-genetic aspects in high myopia in Polish patients’.
