On the initiative of the Biotechnology Commission at the Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, “Biotechnology 2020. What do we ask most often?” „Biotechnologia 2020. O co najczęściej pytamy?” edited by Marlena Szalata, Ryszard Słomski and Tomasz Twardowski was prepared.
The book is a compendium of the latest achievements in biotechnology, and also deals with issues related to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and vaccine preparation. An important part is the indication of the achievements of Polish biotechnology, including the Poznań center. Employees of the Institute, Dr. Tomasz Kolanowski, Professor Ryszard Słomski and Dr. Marlena Szalata, who are also members of the Biotechnology Committee at the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences.The book is based on “100 + 30 frequently asked questions on contemporary biotechnology” „100+30 najczęściej zadawanych pytań na temat współczesnej biotechnologii” by Tomasz Twardowski and Edyta Kwapich from 2001.
