Wojciech Łosiewski, MSc, has received “Dr Wacław Mayzel Medical Laurel”, an honorary award of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for students. The award was granted for the paper “7-[[(4-methyl-2-pyridinyl)amino](2-pyridinyl)methyl]-8-quinolinol (compound 30666) inhibits enhancer activity and reduces B-cell lymphoma growth – A question of specificity”, published in European Journal of Pharmacology in 2021. Wojciech Łosiewski was supported by a scholarship in the First Team project funded by the Foundation for Polish Science, whose PI is dr. hab. Agnieszka Dzikiewicz-Krawczyk.
